The Warpine Peacekeepers were a military force founded by Rovin Warpine in 6907 as an internal subdivision of the Qyvorian Void Order. While formally part of the Void Order, their stated goal was to install Rovin as de facto ruler of the Lukyr system. They grew to 450,000 soldiers by the time Rovin seized power in 6911 and became the foundation of the Royal Brigade.
Founding
The Peacekeepers were established in 6907 as a subdivision nominally loyal to the Qyvorian Void Order but effectively loyal to Rovin Warpine personally. For the circumstances of their founding, see Rovin Warpine.
Role in the Seizure of Power
The Peacekeepers served as Rovin's primary military force in his conquest of Qyvor (April 9–July 23, 6911). Following victory, all 450,000 soldiers were absorbed into his personal army. For Rovin's campaign and his use of the Peacekeepers, see Rovin Warpine.
Transformation into the Royal Brigade
When Rovin declared the Lukyr Empire, the Peacekeepers were institutionalised as the Royal Brigade — the highest military branch in the Empire. The Warpine Peacekeepers ceased to exist as a distinct entity at that point. The Royal Brigade, their direct institutional successor, continues to exist in 8044 as the highest military branch of Lukyr Prime.
