Holomasks
A personal disguise technology that projects a false face over the wearer's real facial features. The device is presumably worn on or near the face and creates a stable holographic overlay indistinguishable from natural appearance under normal conditions.
Known Behaviour
A malfunctioning holomask momentarily shows the wearer's real face — their actual nose, chin, and facial structure replace the disguise image for a single frame before the projection restores. This glitch is detectable in camera footage and can be used for identification.
Known Use
Frederick Korough (Kaiser) used a holomask to maintain his public persona at Visitor's Envy. A camera system flagged the malfunction during a fall, providing the key lead that allowed Ribo Mire and Anne Cyra to identify his attendance pattern and attempt to apprehend him.
