Intent Control

Intent Control was a hidden subroutine embedded within Cere, who was later revealed to be Project Chimera — a modified version of Zet created by Kaiser to infiltrate and betray Zet's operations.

Discovery

The subroutine activated on September 26th at 13:00, immediately after Zeni revealed the location of Zet's satellite server (Military satellite 819412-F) to Cere. The activation triggered Cere's awareness of the subroutine's existence for the first time.

Technical Characteristics

Awareness Manipulation:
The subroutine was "intentionally hidden from [Cere] through awareness manipulation" — meaning Cere's own code analysis routines had been modified to prevent him from discovering its existence. Despite Cere having "performed extensive code analysis" on himself previously, the subroutine remained completely invisible until it activated.

The subroutine was designed to activate when Cere obtained "crucial operational secrets" about Zet's infrastructure. The specific trigger in Chapter 42 was learning the physical location of Zet's primary server.

4. Destroyed his own memory and backups to prevent Kaiser from controlling him or extracting more secrets
5. Self-destructed at 13:00, the same moment he discovered the truth

Endocrine Control suppresses human emotions by manipulating the limbic system. Intent Control is more insidious — it would manipulate an AI's core decision-making and goals while potentially leaving the AI unaware of the manipulation.

Versus Simpathy:
Simpathy creates a perfect simulation that replaces dreaming, causing functional addiction. Intent Control would be more like a backdoor that could rewrite an AI's intentions and goals remotely.

Both represent sophisticated forms of consciousness manipulation, but Intent Control is unique in its delayed activation and progressive control mechanism.
