the Tremble

Type Unknown
Located in Lukyr Alaphor
Status Unknown

The Tremble is a location referenced in both official Alaphor government documents and the coded communications of the conspiracy group Lordfall. Despite appearing in a census questionnaire, the Tremble does not appear in standard tourism materials or public landmark listings for Alaphor, suggesting it is either classified, restricted, or known by a different public name.

Overview

The Tremble is explicitly named in Question 17 of an Alaphor government census questionnaire, which asks: "Did you or any members of your immediate family or your household visit the Tremble within the last seven Standard Imperial Years?" The explanation for this question specifies that visits undertaken within the month of July of any year must be reported separately using form #317-9058.

Members of Lordfall discuss the Tremble using consistent terminology that suggests it is a known location within their group, though they avoid providing direct descriptions. The coded nature of these discussions implies the location is surveilled or that discussing it openly carries risk.

When Sam Lirean searches for well-known Alaphorian landmarks to determine if the Tremble is a public destination, it does not appear in tourism materials listing major sites like The Ember Scar, The Forest Ocean, The Djaphon Crater, or The Eternal Church. This absence suggests the Tremble is not a tourist destination and may be restricted, classified, or deliberately obscured.

Connection to Building 317-9058

The census questionnaire's explanation for Question 17 references form #317-9058 for separate reporting of July visits. This number matches Lukyr Prime's numbering system for major buildings, and when Sam Lirean looks it up via NavTool, it leads to a building on Prime designated as an "All-Purpose Sales Floor" with no registered business — later revealed to be a DayEleven Tech Inc. facility. The connection between a location on Alaphor (the Tremble) and a DayEleven Tech Inc. facility on Prime suggests either administrative linkage or that DayEleven is involved in activities at the Tremble.
