The Guiding Light is a Lightstinger-class capital ship and the flagship of the Frontier Recovery Mission, the expedition King Covian Warpine led to Gamma Eona. It carries the King, his command circle, and a large crew on the years-long voyage.
Overview
The Guiding Light is a massive vessel bristling with weapons — enough that firing all of them at once visibly rattles the ship and produces a cacophony heard throughout. It is captained by Captain Vince, with Emmanuel Eyadsa directing its weapons and sabotage-drone operations as Acting Commander of the Royal Brigade, and Dr. Lyuk serving as scientific director aboard. Its breaching munitions and automated drones are fired through small launch ports rather than producing large hull breaches.
The ship is large enough to host a banquet for its entire crew, and serves as the King's seat of command for the duration of the mission.
