Standard military combat drones operated by the Royal Brigade. Deployed in massive swarms from Lightstinger-class capital ships, they form the backbone of the government's aerial combat capability against Zet's forces.
Specifications and Appearance
Royal Brigade Combat Drones use a color-coding system that identifies the commanding officer who deployed them:
- Red-yellow: Standard Royal Brigade pattern — the default government deployment
- Purple with dark blue: Indicates a specific Admiral or Captain assignment; this correspondence is classified information
During the Battle of Izon (IWUKE Chapter 36), a Lightstinger deployed over 300,000 red-yellow pattern drones against Izon, demonstrating the scale at which these weapons are stockpiled.
Capabilities and Limitations
Royal Brigade Combat Drones are capable of sustained swarm operations and weapons fire sufficient to breach fortified walls within seconds. However, their AI control systems are notably inferior to those of Zet's custom Zet's Drone Models — Zet's Blight-class drones achieved a 2.5:1 elimination ratio against them in the Izon battle, largely due to superior control systems and strategic positioning.
Deployment
Drones are deployed directly from Lightstinger capital ships, which can carry over 300,000 units in a configuration optimized for drone operations. Individual Admirals and Captains select their own loadouts, determining which color-coded variants are fielded.
