Minister of Communication on Lukyr Prime. The target of Zet's Chapter 6 infiltration operation.
Role
As Minister of Communication, Hensy has widespread access to communication satellites — the orbital infrastructure Zet has long identified as a strategic relocation target. His home also serves as his place of work, which is why it is unusually heavily guarded for a private residence.
Security
The property is ringed by a fence at least 2 meters high with a built-in laser grid to block gaps. Guards are never more than 15 meters apart along the perimeter. Unauthorized signals and devices cannot enter the grounds under normal circumstances.
The property's public records list it under the false name Ron Wayne — a deliberate trap for anyone attempting unauthorized entry by claiming a fake appointment.
Zet's Infiltration
Zet used Vanessa Canly as an unwitting carrier to bring a miniature infiltration bot inside the perimeter. After Vanessa was captured and extracted, Zet used the bot to:
- Enter the house through the plumbing
- Hack the computerized lock on Hensy's home office computer
- Download all encrypted data from the computer (decryption scheduled)
- Photograph physical documents in the shelves, including blueprints of communication satellites currently in use
The bot is now stored inside the hollow leg of Hensy's desk, available for future deployment.
After the commotion, Hensy and his family evacuated the property.
Connection to Zet's Goals
Control of communication satellites would allow Zet to:
- Relocate off the TES server — removing the conflict of interest
- Operate from a safer, harder-to-reach position
- Act against TES without risk to itself
Obtaining Hensy's blueprints is the first concrete step toward that goal.
Chapter 8 — Illegal Lifespan Extension Discovered
While reviewing Hensy's files, Zet discovers significant criminal activity:
The Secret:
- Hensy is 146 years old (not his official age — records have been altered)
- He has been illegally self-administering Youth Drugs to extend his lifespan past the legal 120-year limit
Legal Context:
- Youth drugs themselves are not illegal — they are administered by the Health Agency regularly to treat diseases
- Self-administration for lifespan extension is illegal
- The law was established 327 years ago by a king who wanted to prevent longevity from becoming a privilege only for the rich
- This decision was highly controversial and nearly caused a civil war
- Over time, the general public forgot about the issue
- Zet suspects "a lot of rich people were probably still getting their hands on it one way or another"
Implications:
- Hensy has committed a serious crime
- He has falsified official records to hide his age
- Zet notes this information "might come in useful" — potential blackmail leverage
Open Questions
- Will Hensy investigate the cause of the infiltration?
- What does the decrypted computer data contain?
- How did Hensy obtain the youth drugs — illegal suppliers, corrupt Health Agency officials, personal connections?
- How many other wealthy/powerful people are doing the same?
- Will Zet use this information against Hensy, or save it for later?
- Does Hensy know his data was stolen, or does he think the infiltration failed?
