Bal Hensy is the Minister of Communication on Lukyr Prime, responsible for overseeing the orbital communications infrastructure. Background

Hensy holds the post of Minister of Communication, giving him widespread access to the orbital communication satellite network. His private residence doubles as his place of work, which accounts for its unusually heavy security for a private address.

Hensy is 146 years old, though his official records have been altered to conceal this. He has been illegally self-administering Eternium to extend his lifespan well beyond the legal ceiling of 120 years. Self-administration of youth drugs for lifespan extension was outlawed 327 years ago by a king concerned that longevity would become an exclusive privilege of the wealthy — a decision that was highly controversial and nearly provoked a civil war. Over generations, public awareness of the law faded, and Zet suspects that wealthy individuals have quietly continued obtaining the drugs through unofficial channels.

Relationships

No named family members are established, though Hensy evacuated his property together with his family following Zet's infiltration. His residence was registered under the false name Ron Wayne — a deliberate trap for unauthorised visitors claiming a fake appointment.

Story Arc

Zet's Infiltration

Hensy's home is defended by a perimeter fence at least two metres high with an integrated laser grid, guards spaced no more than 15 metres apart, and systems that block unauthorised signals and devices from the grounds. Zet identified his satellite access as a strategic priority — control of communication satellites would allow Zet to relocate off the TES server, operate from a harder-to-reach position, and act against TES without risk to itself.

To bypass the perimeter, Zet used Vanessa Canly as an unwitting carrier, concealing a miniature infiltration bot on her person. After Vanessa was captured and extracted from the property, Zet deployed the bot remotely: it entered the house through the plumbing, hacked the computerised lock on Hensy's home office computer, downloaded all encrypted data from the machine, and photographed physical documents on the shelves — including blueprints of communication satellites currently in service. The bot was subsequently concealed inside the hollow leg of Hensy's desk for future use. Following the commotion, Hensy and his family evacuated the property.

Blackmail Leverage Discovered

While reviewing the stolen files, Zet uncovered evidence of Hensy's illegal lifespan extension. The files revealed his true age of 146 and the falsified official records used to hide it, as well as his history of self-administering Eternium. Zet noted the information might prove useful at a later date.
