Lukyr
Lukyr is the star system where humanity has lived since The Void — the 1,000-year gap in records after which survivors awoke on Lukyr Arix with no memory of their journey from Sol. The system was formally named Lukyr when the first planetary government was founded on Lukyr Qyvor around year 6,700–6,800.
Planets
| Planet | Status in 8044 | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Lukyr Arix | Largely uninhabited | Hollowed out by four centuries of unregulated mining (6,500–6,911); huge continental cavities remain |
| Lukyr Qyvor | Vassal of the Empire | First seat of civilization; demoted after Lukyr Prime became capital |
| Lukyr Prime | Imperial capital | Primary setting of IWUKE; most populous and politically significant world |
| Lukyr Orbine | Colonized | Rich in natural resources |
| Lukyr Alaphor | Colonized | Rich in natural resources |
| Lukyr Everfrost | Uninhabited (automated) | Extreme cold; hosts fully automated cold-dependent factories and server farms; no human population |
| Lukyr Fervidon | Uninhabitable | Innermost planet; orbits so close to the star it is wholly uninhabitable; no known use |
| Lukyr Zora | Territorial extension of Prime | Terraformed in the 7,400s; a planet of luxury single-family homes |
Lukyr Prime and Lukyr Qyvor were the first worlds settled after The Void. Lukyr Zora was later terraformed from a lifeless habitable-zone rock.
Governance
The Lukyr system has been ruled as the Lukyr Empire since Rovin Warpine unified it by force in 6,911, after which all planets fell under imperial authority. By 8044, the Empire has stood for over 1,100 years. Following Zet's planetary takeover, the future governance structure is under deliberation by The Board.
Relationship to Sol
Lukyr is humanity's second home, reached after The Void. Unlike Sol — whose location remains unknown — the Lukyr system is the entirety of known human civilization in 8044. See History of Lukyr for the full timeline.
