Public Service Announcement to the Citizens of Lukyr Prime and The Cities of Perind

The threat to the Empire that was first mentioned in the announcement two days ago, on September 18th, has been reassessed. This directly follows today’s brutal attack on the government by the threat, designated “Z” by our investigation teams. We can now confirm that the threat is in the form of an artificial intelligence. Dedicated teams are working full-time to contain the threat, having attained the cooperation of the entity’s original creator. Until it is contained, the entity poses a significant threat to every citizen.

The entity is not to be engaged under any circumstance. It has been found to be capable of sophisticated manipulation, and any and all information it provides must be taken as foundationally untrustworthy. Otherwise, it will dismantle every reasonable judgement. Once again, it must not be engaged under any circumstance. Instead, report suspected contact to your local authorities immediately.

While more details on the nature of the threat are laid out in attached supplementary documents, this document focuses on necessary safety measures and containment protocols.

Effective immediately, to ensure your safety and the safety of the Empire, the right to residential and commercial premise sanctuary is temporarily suspended. This enables government personnel to more efficiently and rapidly respond to new developments as this crisis evolves. All citizens must comply with this directive.

Also effective immediately, the right to privacy in digital spaces, both commercial and private, is temporarily suspended. Unrestricted and immediate access to digital storage devices of any kind must be provided upon request by authorized personnel. All citizens must comply with this directive.

The Crown wishes to reiterate that these measures are necessary and calculated sacrifices, for the protection of every citizen, and that compliance is mandatory. This applies to all territories, as per the Independence Act of 7631. Your assistance is required - comply, and this will all be behind us.

Various official departments are working together on solutions. All branches of the military are engaged to ensure safety and order, while the research guilds work on state-of-the-art counter projects at an unprecedented speed and scale.
