The Dredgers were one of the military factions opposing Rovin Warpine's seizure of the Lukyr system around 6907–6911. They were effectively destroyed during his rise to power, with 249,914 members killed.
Role in the Pre-Empire Conflict
The Dredgers were among several groups contesting control of Lukyr before Rovin declared the Lukyr Empire. The Chronicle does not record their ideology, origin, or goals beyond noting their opposition to Rovin's ascent.
Destruction
By the time Rovin declared himself Emperor in 6911, the Dredgers had been "all but eradicated." Their destruction, along with that of The Motherworlders, The Core, and defecting Void Order members, removed all militarily significant opposition.
