Minister Rylt's Letter to Lord Carnick

To the honorable Lord Carnick,

I write to you today hoping to weigh in on certain issues. I have observed the Crown’s response to the ongoing crisis with great interest - while also coming to conclusions of my own. There is information available to me that suggests that Zet’s claims about its benevolent intentions may have merit. Thus, I am asking for a re-evaluation of government response.

While I do not believe that these missteps were made on your direct authority, I have recently observed a worrying pattern in military police and royal brigade interventions. It seems to me that we are disregarding civil rights for no real benefit - especially considering that Zet may actually not pose a threat at all.

I propose cooperation with Zet. If we are able to integrate its vast abilities into existing processes, surely this would be beneficial for everyone. I cannot claim that this course of action is guaranteed to be successful, or that Zet will even definitively be interested in pursuing it. That said, I would be disappointed in this great Empire if it were not at least attempted.

If you are of the opinion that this is an unviable strategy, I will gladly leverage my position in the government to demand insight into why - as per the Transparency Clause, you are required to thoroughly consider strategic input from those ranked Minister or above, and provide a written response, as you are no doubt aware.

I hope that we can come to an agreement on this, and that the senseless chaos will find its end shortly.
