ReStar

ReStar is a hospital compound on Lukyr Prime. It serves as the primary setting for the medical storyline spanning Chapters 21–29, during which Vanessa Canly is treated for OPECS radiation burns, subjected to illegal Endocrine Control, and eventually abducted from the premises. Jake Fynt recovers from gunshot injuries here during the same period.

Facilities and Access

Room access is badge-controlled and managed by an automated AI assistant stationed at each door. Patients' rooms have alert beeps that sound when someone enters. The compound includes permanent conference rooms equipped with tablets — at least one of which was used by Dr. Trepa to communicate with her government superior, leaving a recoverable call log.

Key Events

Chapter 21 — Vanessa admitted; Zeni infiltrates. Vanessa Canly is admitted for severe OPECS radiation burn injuries, treated with Pharmaweave and an endocrine monitoring device. Zeni enters posing as "Zeni Mason, personal attendant from CHS (Citizen Health and Safety)" using fabricated credentials drawn from Health Agency servers. Philipp Lanto of the Royal Military Police arrives to question Vanessa about the Bal Hensy homestead raid, insisting the matter is "extremely urgent" despite her critical condition.

Chapter 22 — Illegal treatment challenged; Jake also present. Jake Fynt is simultaneously recovering from injuries at ReStar. Zeni identifies that Vanessa's limbic system has been suppressed — an unapproved, unrecorded treatment — and confronts Dr. Trepa. After Zeni overhears Trepa arguing with a government superior who threatens her life to maintain compliance, Trepa reverses course, escorts Zeni to Vanessa's room, ends the Endocrine Control treatment, and arranges psychological care.

Chapter 23 — Call logs recovered. Pietro accesses a permanent conference room tablet at ReStar on Zet's behalf and recovers call logs confirming that Dr. Trepa's contact with her superior was filed under the alias "Ingo Fringe" — a pseudonym used by the Eldon Wynter.

Chapter 28 — Vanessa abducted. While Zeni is briefly away, four people in gray government bureau uniforms remove Vanessa from her room. Her room is marked Vacant. The operation uses a non-standard medical vehicle with full signal defense and pilots wearing illegal facial recognition masks.

Chapter 29 — Vehicle identified. Zet locates the abduction vehicle — model XP-8041-L — near ReStar hospital. The craft escapes to space before atmospheric drones can intercept it, prompting Zet and Zeni to commandeer a private yacht in pursuit.
