Helzo Alcantar

Helzo is a person who targeted Teeva Jakoby at some point before or during her imprisonment on Lukyr Arix. The nature and circumstances of this conflict are not yet established.

Known Facts

Under the influence of the radiation canyon in Chapter 4, Teeva accuses Kynon Bancroft: "Did Helzo send you? To finish the job?" This reveals that Helzo attempted to harm or kill Teeva — and that the job was not completed. In Chapter 6, Kynon recalls that Teeva mentioned "a person she was in trouble with", connecting Helzo to Teeva's stated belief that human threats on Arix are more dangerous than any environmental hazard.

• Who is Helzo? Another prisoner, a ySteel operative, or someone else?
• What was "the job" Helzo was trying to finish?
• Is Helzo connected to Teeva's missing arm?
• Is Helzo located in the worker cities? Teeva has been to other worker cities but not the one she and Kynon fly toward.
